Eligibility for Career Services Policy

I. Introduction

This policy explains who may use the services and resources of the Office of Career Services (OCS).

II. Definitions

A. Personal Assistance: Career assistance counseling appointments, critiques of career documents (e.g., résumés, cover letters).

B. Office Resources: Publications, job listings (hard copy and online).

C. Sponsored Events: Career fairs, employer information sessions, career information panels.

III. Service to Current Students

Registered students and students of The Catholic University of America (CUA) on an approved leave of absence can make full use of office resources, sponsored events and direct personal assistance of OCS staff members based on their availability. Students admitted to CUA who have not yet enrolled in courses can make full use of office resources, sponsored events and direct personal assistance upon verification of their being admitted to CUA and having officially accepted such admission.

The Columbus School of Law provides services to its students through its Office of Career and Professional Development.
