Academic Policies for Graduate Students

Please visit the web page of the Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies for information on dissertations, funding opportunities, graduate areas of study, and other information related to graduate work at CUA. For Law School Academic Rules, please see the Law School Announcements.

Questions about policies relating to either graduate or undergraduate studies should be directed to the Vice Provost and Dean for Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Shavaun Wall at 319-5017 (walls@cua.edu) or to Dean George Garvey, the Vice Provost and Dean for Graduate Studies  at 319-5247 (garvey@cua.edu).

The issue date of these online academic policies that are contained in the printed Announcements will always reflect the most recent academic year that the policies were issued in the printed Announcements. For example, an academic policy that appears in the 2006-2007 printed Announcements will have an issue date on the online policy page of August 2006.

Changes made during an academic year will be made to the online policy, but the print version of the policy will not be updated until the beginning of the next academic year. Users are thus encouraged to use the online version of policies, which the university considers to be the most current official version of policies.
