Information Technology Policies

The goal of technology policy at The Catholic University of America is to enhance the Teaching, Learning, And Research environments. In the triangle of enhancement, compliance with applicable laws, and security, this enhancement is always uppermost in our thoughts. Security and privacy are extremely important, as they contribute to the stable and open environment required for academic inquiry. Compliance is also critical to the continued operations of the University.  Our constant goal is cited in the 1888 founding documents of the University, and is as applicable today as then: to provide an environment in which all members of the University community may pursue their "search for truth in all its forms."
