2/28/07 Job titles updated to reflect current usage (i.e. Vice President for Finance and Treasurer is now Vice President for Finance and Administration and Treasurer)

7/31/06  The last paragraph of the policy was revised to clarify that all contracts to retain workers as independent contractors must be reviewed by The Office of General Counsel. An additional clarification was made that the General Counsel does not ordinarily review routine forms used to hire workers as employees of the university, such as the university’s Employee Data Form and appointment letters from the Provost or other Vice Presidents.

9/15/05: Policy was reformatted according to the standard template.  No changes were made to the substance of this policy.
