8/1/07: Policy was amended in Section IV to clarify that students who wish to pursue a complaint against the university are directed to the Office of Civil Rights, U.S. Dept. of Education. (old version only mentioned the EEOC, which is where employees would file a complaint) Also, wording in first sentence (and in a timely way cooperate) was put in place instead of "and timely cooperate." This was a change made by Public Affairs as they updated the Student Handbook.
 
12/18/03:  Policy was rewritten to include sections on Pre-Complaint Resolution Strategies, complaint procedures, and statements regarding responsibility for implemenation, confidentiality and timelines for filing complaints.
